Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?

I solve legal problems in the technology space, which includes helping to structure, negotiate and deliver transactions across large scale digital and technology transformation projects.

What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

Inclusivity, compassion and opportunity.

What do you think it will take to develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry?

Leaders must have a more holistic understanding of what embodies ‘diversity’. Diversity is such a multi-faceted concept but many people still associate it with just gender diversity. It embodies a whole range of factors such as ethnicity, age, race, disability, sexual orientation, educational background, parental status, socio-economic background and so much more. To develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry of today and beyond, leaders need to provide opportunities to promote diversity in their workforce across all management levels and ensure diversity & inclusion are embedded in all stages of the employee life cycle particularly in hiring, retaining and developing talent.

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?

I wanted a rewarding and intellectually stimulating career.
