Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?

Listen, problem-solve, and advocate.

What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

Inclusion and wide-ranging benefit.

What do you think it will take to develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry?

Time, open mindedness in all practitioners, and confidence within practitioners themselves to embrace and champion who they are, rather than feeling pressure to conform to traditional ideals of what it means to be a lawyer.

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?

The idea of being able to help people who may not have had the privilege of access to a legal education, the allure of endeavouring to solve difficult problems, and the excitement of advocacy.
