(2 September 1879 – 11 October 1962)

Anna Teresa Brennan studied law at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 1909. She actively pursued the cause of women’s equality throughout her life.

Anna practised as a solicitor for over 50 years and was president of the Victorian Legal Women’s Association, founded in 1931.
