Amie is the elected Treasurer of Women Lawyers Association of Queensland (WLAQ) and is integral to supporting their mission of advancing women in the law.
Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?
I’m a leader of a specialist industrial relations advisory team within the Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman, who provide high level and complex industrial relations advice to internal and external stakeholders.
What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?
Since a very young age, I have always been a very energetic problem solver with a big heart and a lot of time for conversation. I fell in love with law during high school and saw it as an opportunity to do what I love, solving problems and connecting with people, and talking a lot, for a living.
