Her story

Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?

I passionately assist children to remain positive during emotional times. I think outside the square and deliver notable outcomes for my clients. On the weekends, I create a welcoming outdoor piece of paradise.

What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

Bravery, evolution, tenacity.

What do you think it will take to develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry?

Collaboration and research will assist to open people’s minds to acknowledge the need for changes within our industry. Influential leaders need to be committed to their beliefs and call on the profession (including our Judges) to accept that there are more innovative and creative solutions rather than the traditional path.

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?

To help people. To fulfill my need for social justice.
