Louise is a Partner at McCullough Robertson, and the Head of McR ESG.With over 15 years of legal experience, both private and in-house, in 2022 Louise became head of McR ESG, bespoke ESG advisory service launched by McCullough Robertson, specialising in providing practical, commercial support and advice. This was in response to the growing demand for practical and effective ESG responses.

Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?

I help businesses to unlock opportunities through ESG themes.

What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

Inclusivity, voice and empowering others.

What do you think it will take to develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry?

Action, accountability and celebrating success.

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?

Other than the chance to wear power suits and attend the law ball (of course), to challenge myself to learn and grow and for the broad range of career opportunities that a law degree makes possible.
