Her story

Nicole is a Solicitor at ACM Legal.

Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?

I assist people to resolve conflict and assist those who are disadvantaged to access available resources to achieve their desired outcomes.

What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

Uniqueness, opportunity, respect.

What do you think it will take to develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry?

Openness of communication regarding barriers to diversity and truly listening to personal experiences of our clients to tailor our services to meet their individual needs based on their unique circumstances.

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?

I have always had a passion to enter the legal profession, and have come to it as a second career. I was drawn by the ability for lawyers to assist those who are disadvantaged in our community and to offer services to a diverse group of individuals.
