Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?

My passion lies in supporting the development and implementation of clean and renewable energy, helping create a sustainable future for our community and beyond. I am always eager to try out different foods and experience diverse cultures and my work also allows me to indulge (every now and again) in my love for travel and exploring new cuisines. In my free time, I also enjoy the meditative process of watercolor painting, and the excitement of rock climbing, even if I am not particularly good at either! I am an advocate for green living, adventure, and creative expression in all aspects of my life.

What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

Inclusion, innovation, perspective.

What do you think it will take to develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry?

Keeping the conversation around diversity alive for everyone, not just those already committed to the idea.

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?

My main driver to enter the legal industry was fuelled by my curiosity and passion for the investigative nature of legal work. I’ve always been drawn to the process of learning and delving into complex issues, and the legal profession offers ample opportunities for that. I enjoy analysing information and crafting well-structured documents and knowing that I can make a positive impact drives me to excel. The continuous learning and adaptation required to stay at the forefront of legal developments also excite me.
