Her story

Corina is a Partner at Mullins.

Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?

I help individuals and organisations navigate Australia's pathways to living and working here, providing them with peace of mind by making the process clear and achievable. Whether it's realising personal dreams and helping people to thrive or supporting businesses in building diverse, global teams, my work is about fostering connections and opening doors to new possibilities, where diversity enriches both lives and workplaces.

What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

Inclusion. Equality. Opportunity.

What do you think it will take to develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry?

To develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry, it will require a shift in mindset, where diversity is no longer just a goal but an embedded value. This means challenging the status quo, creating space for underrepresented voices, and ensuring that policies actively promote inclusion at every level—from recruitment to leadership, and fostering environments where diverse thoughts are not only welcomed but celebrated.

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?

I was driven to become a lawyer through my passion for justice and ensuring fairness in a system that can often feel overwhelming or inaccessible. I was motivated by a desire to make a tangible impact on people's lives by providing them with the support they need to navigate challenging legal processes.

Contribute to the rich tapestry of women in Australian law

This campaign is not just a reflection of the past; it's an invitation to join the celebration of women in law. We invite you to nominate other women within the legal industry to share their stories, anecdotes, and tributes. Together, let's honour their legacy and inspire future generations.
