Her story

Marsha is a Principal Immigration Lawyer & Notary Public at MB Lawyers.

Without mentioning your job title, how would you describe what it is you do now (whether at home, work, in the community, etc.)?

As a results-driven, strategic, and empathetic lawyer, I prioritise both quality and a human-centric approach for my corporate and individual clients. I understand that visas are crucial to the success of businesses and individuals, and I am privileged to contribute to that success story.  I am passionate about continuing professional education and am honored to be invited to deliver high-quality CPD sessions. I take great joy in being an encouraging voice for my colleagues in the profession, whether through podcasts, written content, or in-person CPD sessions. It's rewarding to contribute to shaping the current and next generation of skilled migration professionals.

What are the first three words you think of when you hear the word ‘diversity’?

Fairness, richness, quality.

What do you think it will take to develop truly diverse thinking within the legal industry?

Driving continued cultural change within the legal industry and the broader professional landscape.

What was your main driver to enter the legal industry?

Advancing justice, empowering women, and fostering leadership for women.

Contribute to the rich tapestry of women in Australian law

This campaign is not just a reflection of the past; it's an invitation to join the celebration of women in law. We invite you to nominate other women within the legal industry to share their stories, anecdotes, and tributes. Together, let's honour their legacy and inspire future generations.
